These numbers are based on preliminary estimates and are subject to change as the legislative process develops.


  • On the whole, the House bill does more to reduce the number of uninsured than the Senate Finance bill does.  The House bill reduces the number of uninsured people as compared to projections under current law by 5.4 million more people over the first ten years than the Senate Finance bill does.
